Video game journalist Dan Ryckert is set to embark on a new journey with WWE.

Ryckert, who has worked for publications such as Game Informer, and Giant Bomb has signed a deal with WWE.

On the 1/3 episode of the Giant Beastcast, Ryckert announced his departure from Giant Bomb, having accepted a position with WWE as a podcast producer.

According to Ryckert, he will be moving to Stamford, CT, and producing podcasts both in-house and on the road.

Throughout my life, my two biggest passions have always been video games and wrestling. I was so fortunate to make a living working in one of those industries, and now it’s time to try the other. Starting Monday, I’ll be producing podcasts both in-house and on the road for WWE.

WWE currently has two podcasts airing on their new WWE Podcast Network, powered by Endevor Audio. The company is slated to add a third podcast to the lineup, hosted by Alexa Bliss.

In October, WWE debuted ‘After The Bell’ with Corey Graves, and more recently launched a podcast with The New Day titled ‘Feel The Power”.

In August, WWE announced plans on launching the WWE Podcast Network. The company has teamed up with Endeavor Audio for the venture, which will have several Superstar-focused series.
