Smackdown Live star Aiden English has a new role in the WWE for the next few months.
The WWE announced this morning, Aiden English will join the 205 Live commentary team starting tonight through Wrestlemania season.
English will join Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness to call the action of 205 Live every Tuesday following Smackdown Live.
According to the report, Aiden English has been working at the WWE Performance Center with Senior Director of On Air Talent Michael Cole ahead of his commentary debut.
“We wanted to do something special for WrestleMania season, and Royal Rumble week kicks off the Road to WrestleMania.
We’ve been working with Aiden at the WWE Performance Center to see if he has the chops, and it turns out he’s pretty good.”
Aiden English will continue his role as talent on Smackdown Live. He has not been used on Smackdown television since this past October, but has been working live events and dark matches.
