AJ Styles hosted a charity stream last night on Twitch in conjunction with Corsair to raise money for Save The Children. During the 2-hour stream he spoke on a number of topics, and answered questions from fans.
One topic that came up was Gallows and Anderson’s recent comments during an interview with Gary Cassidy Of SportsKeeda. During the interview, the pair was asked whether he went to AJ Styles for advice prior to signing their deal with IMPACT Wrestling. Gallows mentioned he reached out after the news was confirmed, and Anderson stated he would try and convince the Styles to return to IMPACT.
“Ultimately, we’re going to talk AJ Styles into coming back to IMPACT. That’s what we’re doing every single day. We’re texting him and telling him to come back.”
AJ Styles responded to these comments during his Twitch stream, stating he still would like to finish his career in WWE.
“I don’t know what to think about that; you guys know how I feel about that,” Styles stated. “Yeah, Gallows and Anderson are trying to get me back [in IMPACT Wrestling] is what they said. Never say never but I also have said that I would like to finish my career in the WWE. So, we will see.”
Styles did praise the strong talent at IMPACT Wrestling, stating the promotion has upped their game from the past.
“Not to say that they don’t have a lot going on right now. Man, they’ve got some strong talent,” AJ said. “Not that they didn’t have good talent before, but they’ve upped it just a little bit more.”
