Alberto Del Rio Indicted For Aggravated Kidnapping, Sexual Assault

Jose Rodriguez Chucuan, better known to wrestling fans as Alberto Del Rio / Alberto El Patron has been indicted by a grand jury for aggravated kidnapping and four counts of sexual assault.

The Bexlar County District Attorney issued the following statement.

Jose Rodriguez Chucuan is charged in a multi-count indictment. The indictment alleges that on May 3, 2020, Chucuan committed one count of aggravated kidnapping and four counts of sexual assault.

 

On 5/9, Del Rio was arrested following and incident that allegedly occurred one week prior. He was later released after securing a $50,000 bond from a Bail Bonds company.

The victim alleges Del Rio forced her to wear a dress and dance for him. He stated if she did not comply with his demands he would take her child and leave him in the middle of the street.

According to authorities, Del Rio tied the woman’s hands with boxing straps, and put a sock in her mouth, sexually assaulting her for several hours, using various objects.

If convicted, he can face a minimum of 5 years with a maximum of life in prison for the aggravated kidnapping charge. If convicted for the sexual assault charge, he could face a minimum of two years, with a maximum of 20 years in prison.

According to PWInsider, he will be arraigned Friday afternoon in Bextar County District Courts, with a trial date yet to be determined.
