Former NXT Champion Aleister Black will reportedly be returning to WWE television soon.

Aleister Black hasn’t been seen on WWE television since being drafted to SmackDown in October 2020, however, he could soon be making his return.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE has recently begun to film promos for Black’s eventual return. It was noted that the promos were loosely based around Black’s childhood. It’s currently unknown when the promos will air on television, or which brand they will air on.

Black was signed by WWE in June 2016, and went on to become NXT Champion less than a year later. He then debuted on the main roster on 2019, however is yet to win a championship. His last feud on television was against Kevin Owens in the fall of 2020.
