All Elite Wrestling has announced their first New York City area show.
AEW Dynamite will be heading to Newark, NJ on 3/25, filming live from the Prudential Center.
The venue will host its first non-WWE wrestling event since opening in 2007. The arena has played host to multiple WWE PPVs including Hell In A Cell 2009, WWE Extreme Rules 2016, and WWE Backlash 2018. It has also played host to several WWE television tapings.
Cody Rhodes took to Twitter to make the announcement, thanking the arena for “bypassing politics and nonsense”, making reference to WWE’s stronghold on the venue.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, January 24, 2020 at www.aewtix.com
Thank you Prudential Center for bypassing politics & nonsense and just giving the Jersey/NY fans what they want! I can’t wait.#MerryChristmas https://t.co/DbbRibAz1Z
