Double Or Nothing PPV Location Revealed

All Elite Wrestling is scheduled to announce their first pay-per-view during their rally next Tuesday in Jacksonville, FL. The upstart promotion headed by Tony Khan is looking to run their debut event titled “Double Or Nothing” in Las Vegas, NV.

Dave Meltzer and Garrett Golzales discussed the event on today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, and although a venue wasn’t revealed, Meltzer believes it will be a large capacity building like T-Mobile Arena, or MGM Grand.

Meltzer did state that due to NHL playoffs, that may cause a booking issue with T-Mobile Arena. This leads us to believe the event will be this spring, quite possibly Memorial Day Weekend.  Jim Ross stated weeks ago he heard the first event would be in May, that has yet to be confirmed.

“I don’t know if I’m supposed to say anything… T-mobile is the one you would think of, it could be T-Mobile, but because of NHL, I don’t think they want a situation…they will announce it when they announce it, but it could be T-Mobile, it could be another building, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, they are not going to run it at the Orleans Arena, I’m sure of that, they are going to look at a bigger building.

It was also brought up that the Starrcast convention may be making its return, as Conrad Thompson, who promoted the last event during ALL IN is also in Japan for Wrestle Kingdom 13.

The official All Elite Wrestling Twitter account has followed numerous arenas including T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, and The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
