WWE has quietly called up another member of the NXT brand to the main roster.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Santana Garrett was called up to the WWE main roster during the summer, but never made an official debut. Garrett did appear on Monday Night RAW and WWE Main Event this past April. Creative pitches include her being part of a tag team, but that that did not materialize.
Yet another “phantom call up” has happened in WWE. Fightul has learned that Santana Garrett was “called up” to the WWE main roster this summer, but never debuted.
Earlier this year, WWE also called up Chelsea Green and Vanessa Borne, both have yet to make official main roster debuts. Borne was called up as far back as January or February.
Santana Garrett’s last match was during the 7/1 edition of NXT against Mercedes Martinez. She signed a deal with WWE in July 2019.
