WWE Reportedly Planning Draft For October
Internal talks at WWE have been changing constantly when it comes to the next WWE Draft.
In 2019, the company had two roster drafts, one in April, and the second in October.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE had plans to host a draft at the end of August, but those plans have changed.
Originally, WWE informed some broadcast partners they would be producing live events with limited fans in attendance starting in July, and hosting a roster draft. The live event plans were scrapped, and the planned draft at the end of August was pushed back.
Internal talks then suggest the draft be moved to September, and then October, and then “back and forth again” according to the report.
As of this writing, WWE plans on hosting their next draft in October, but as always those plans can shift. The company does however have no plans on ending the brand split.
