Throwback SmackDown To Air On FOX Tonight
WWE will be presenting a special “Throwback” edition of Friday Night SmackDown tonight.
The company had not released many details surrounding the episode, aside from a WrestleMania Rematch between Seth Rollins and Cesaro.
When WWE first announced the special, many fans hoped the return the SmackDown fist, but that does not appear to be the plan.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), as of noon EST, the original fist was not set up inside the WWE ThunderDome. The report notes, “we’re told that would generally take some time to put together because of the size and weight.”.
The first is housed inside the WWE warehouse in Connecticut.
Throwback SmackDown will air tonight at 8 pm ET on FOX.
