Lacey Evans In Line For “Super Big Push”

Lacey Evans made a brief appearance last night during WWE’s Elimination Chamber event.

Fans were scratching their head wondering why Evans strutted half way down the ramp, turned around, and went backstage during a short appearance.

The story behind her appearance is that the WWE had nothing for her at the PPV, but wanted to give her some exposure ahead of her reported major push.

Dave Meltzer noted on today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Lacey Evans is in line for a “super big push”. Last night’s appearance was step one, and down the road it’s expected that she will be one of the center pieces of the Women’s singles division.

According to Meltzer, people smart to the business see her potential, regardless of how well her in-ring work is.

With the WWE focusing on their Women’s Tag-Team Division, it makes sense to have a several singles performers other than of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey given the spotlight.
