Sheild Reunion Coming Soon

This past Monday on RAW we saw the return of Roman Reigns, who announced his leukemia is in remission. Following his speech, he reunited with fellow Shield member Seth Rollins.

Later in the night, Dean Ambrose wrestled a match against Drew McIntyre. Following the match, Elias, Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley all teamed up on Ambrose.

This four on one beatdown led to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins saving Dean Ambrose, hinting a possible reunion between the three.

According to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, WWE is planning a Shield reunion match. As of this past Monday, the plan was either a 3 on 3 match involving Shield vs. Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and Bobby Lashley, or a 4 on 4 match, adding Braun Strowman and Elias into the match.

There is no confirmation when, or where this match would take place, but Fastlane would be a likely event. According to Pollock, it has been debated backstage, and as of Monday night, the company was unsure what option they would go with.

Dean Ambrose is scheduled to leave WWE in April, following the expiration of his current contract. Due to Ambrose’s departure, the reunion will be short-lived, unless the company can convince him to stay, which is not likely.

According to PWInsider, Roman Reigns is scheduled to be at RAW this up-coming Monday in Philadelphia, PA.
