Five New Signings For NXT UK
WWE announced five new signings for the WWE NXT UK brand today. Oliver Sauter, Jay Melrose, Ilja Rukober, Kay Lee Ray, and Jazzy Gabert have all signed deals with the company.

Oliver Sauter is known for his work working the independent scene as Oliver Carter. Sauter attended last year’s WWE tryout in Germany.
Iija Rukober one of the stand out signees, previously known as Iija Dragunov. The Russian born wrestler, who was raised in Germany has worked for many promotions in Europe, as well as independents in the U.S.
Jazzy Gabert and Kay Lee Rae both competed at WWE’s inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament in 2017. Both were sitting ringside at NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool in January.
Jay Melrose debuted with NXT UK this past December, he previously spent six years serving in the British military.
The group will join other NXT UK stars, and be based at WWE’s UK Performance Center in London.
