Bad Bunny Scores Big WWE Sales
One of WWE’s biggest stories over the last couple weeks has been latin rapper Bad Bunny’s involvement at the Royal Rumble pay per view, and his appearances on the following two editions of Monday Night Raw. WWE later released several merchandise items for Bad Bunny, including a t-shirt and pullover hoodie.
Following his appearances, WWEShop released limited edition merchandise, featuring the artist. Reports emerged indicating he was the top merchandise seller on WWEShop for 2021 so far. The initial Royal Rumble drop has since sold out, with new designs added.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), these items were selling crazy on WWE shop, with reports stating that the rapper drove over $500,000 in sales towards himself and WWE. The publication adds that Bad Bunny held four of the top five merchandise spots, with Universal champion Roman Reigns being the closest active star in that list. Reigns merchandise only pulled in 65% of sales of Bad Bunny youth merchandise.
