WWE Releases Several Talent

Today marks the one-year anniversary of Black Wednesday, the day WWE made massive company-wide cuts amid the ongoing pandemic.
WWE has now released several talent, including Samoa Joe, Bo Dallas, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce Tucker, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Kalisto, and Wesley Blake.
WWE has come to terms on the release of Samoa Joe, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Tucker, Kalisto, Bo Dallas and Wesley Blake as of today April 15, 2021.
Last WWE Appearances For Released Talent
- Samoa Joe’s last WWE appearance was commentary during Wrestlemania 37.
- Billie Kay’s last appearance was during night one of Wrestlemania 37, working the tag team turmoil match.
- Peyton Royce’s last appearance was on the 3/22 episode of Monday Night RAW, losing to Asuka.
- Mickie James’ last appearance was during the NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver pre-show on the commentary desk.
- Chelsea Green’s last appearance was on the 11/13/20 episode of SmackDown, she was injured during her debut.
- Kalisto last made an appearance on the 4/9 episode of SmackDown, during on the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
- Wesley Blake last appeared on the 12/11/20 episode of SmackDown
- Bo Dallas last appeared at WWE Crown Jewel on 10/31/19.
