Brian Cage has reportedly signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling.
SoCalUncensored.com reports that the former Impact World Champion has signed a deal with AEW, although no official start date was been revealed.
Brian Cage faced RVD at tonight’s IMPACT “Hard To Kill” pay-per-view. The match ended up in a no-contest.
Cage is reportedly working without a contract, and has been given the opportunity to re-sign with IMPACT Wrestling.
He also reportedly received an offer from ROH for a higher guarantee, but decided to sign with AEW for the exposure the promotion currently has.
Brian Cage was backstage at AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view last May. He was originally scheduled to appear in the Casino Battle Royale, but IMPACT’s Don Callis nixed the idea not wanting their current World Champion lose during a pre-show match.
Cage’s new deal with AEW will not prevent him from fulfilling any up-coming independent bookings.
