Dustin Diamond, best known as Screech Powers from the NBC sitcom “Saved By The Bell” has passed away at the age of 44.
As first reported by TMZ, Diamond lost his battle with stage-four lung cancer, weeks after being diagnosed.
Diamond was no stranger to to the world of professional wrestling, participating as a contestant on Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling in 2008. Diamond also had a stint with Memphis Championship Wrestling in 2000., and NWA/TNA in 2008 in a boxing match against Tiny The Bellkeeper.
He worked his last match in 2012 for Fight The World Wrestling.
