WWE SmackDown Superstar Signs Long-Term Contract Extension
Chelsea Green has reportedly signed a three-year WWE contract extension.
As per Fightful Select (subscription required), Chelsea Green has signed a three-year WWE contract extension. It was noted that she signed this deal sometime after suffering a wrist injury on SmackDown.
Green suffered a wrist injury last November whilst making her SmackDown debut. She is yet to make her return to the ring however it was reported last month that Green was preparing for her return.
The report noted that prior to re-signing, Green’s contract was set to expire sometime this summer.
Chelsea Green originally signed a contract with WWE in October 2018, reporting to the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Unfortunately, she suffered an injury the following spring, breaking her wrist during NXT television tapings in March 2019.
In 2020, Green spent several months off WWE television, despite reportedly being part of the main roster. Original plans had Green under the name “Victorious”, but some in the company felt there could be issues trademarking the name.
