WWE legend Kamala passed away this past weekend, and a GoFundMe was launched by his friend Jason King to assist with funeral expenses , and general help for his family.
AEW star Chris Jericho and IMPACT Wrestling Co-Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore made substantial donations. Jericho donated $5000, and D’Amore donated $2500.
This isn’t the first time Jericho has made a significant donation, Jericho made a $5000 donation last year to help save Kamala’s home from being repossessed due to back taxes.
Other notable donors include Ryan Barkan, owner of Pro Wrestling Tees, who made a $2500 donation. Pro Wrestling Tees will be donating all t-shirt sales from Kamala’s shop towards the funeral. Pro Wrestling Tees usually takes a cut from each sale, but will donate their portion. The GoFundMe has raised over $20,000 in the last 24 hours.
