Many fans were shocked to learn CM Punk made an appearance this past Friday at an independent wrestling show for the MKE promotion.

This reportedly is not the first time Punk appeared an independent event in disguise. According to Fightful Select, CM Punk made an appearance at The Freelance Wrestling event “Raw Power” on December 15, 2015.
Punk managed Kikutaro in a match against Dick Justice and Daron Corbin. As you can see in the images below, Punk was under a cloak and hood for the match.
The original plan was to do a reveal on Colt Cabana’s Wrestling Road Diaries 3. The footage was scrapped due to the falling out between Punk and Cabana.
By the way, this was CM Punk, too. No I'm not joking. Here's my story on the matter, as we posted earlier on Select. https://t.co/CHusDFY0Rx pic.twitter.com/aSZKvMHY1o
