CM Punk has been very public in stating he has no plans to return to WWE. However, he has stated in the past if he did return to the ring, it would be under the radar.

Friday night, in front of 350 people CM Punk reportedly donned a mask and did a run in at an independent event in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Current ROH star Silas Young runs the Wisconsin based MKE Wrestling promotion shared footage of the run in on his Twitter with the following caption.

Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports stated that this isn’t the first time Punk has dawned a mask and appeared at independent shows. Footage of a prior appearance was filmed for Wrestling Road Diaries 3, but was cut to the falling out between CM Punk and Colt Cabana.

Earlier that day CM Punk was spotted at an event at West Allis Central High School where he took a photo wearing the same hoodie as the masked man at the MKE event.

Punk stated in an ESPN interview with Russillo & Kanell in 2016 if he ever returns to the squared circle it would be non-televised, and nobody would ever know it was him.

“WWE? No. Absolutely not. But you never know, I could pop up here and there. Let me explain that to you even better… it’s not going to even be televised, it’s going to be me in a ninja f–king outfit wrestling one of my buddies and nobody’s ever going to know. It’s going to be very ‘Monty Python’ so to speak.”
