Cody Rhodes is not medically cleared for in-ring action following his AEW Championship match against Chris Jericho Saturday night at AEW Full Gear.
All Elite Wrestling issued a statement indicating Rhodes suffered costochondral separation, sometimes known as a rib separation during his match with Chris Jericho at the PPV.

Rhodes also received 8 stitches following a nasty bump on the entrance ramp which split him open above his eyebrow.
Tony Khan stated during a post-event media scrum, Cody was cleared to continue to the match after ringside physician Dr. Sampson gave the green light.
It’s unknown when Cody will be next evaluated to compete inside an AEW ring.
