WWE’s Ownership Of Cody Rhodes Name Coming To An End
The WWE’s trademark on the name Cody Rhodes is set to expire this fall. The WWE received a courtesy letter from the United States Trademark Office this past October giving them the option to renew.
The trademark expires on October 13th, 2019, and the WWE has until October 15th, 2019 to file renewal on the name. Cody has stated last September that he is able to use the name, but said he will not in the foreseeable future.
I can use it whenever. I will not be using it any time in the foreseeable future though…whether that’s w/roh, WWE, njpw, anywhere…
I prefer just Cody. https://t.co/aVIcsENR5I
