WWE surrendered their registration for the Cody Rhodes name this week, which was finalized Wednesday morning by The United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Cody has attempted to gain ownership of the trademark since April, but due to WWE’s registration has not been successful. Cody will no longer have WWE in the way of completing his registration for the trademark.
