Dana White Gives Update On Lesnar vs. Cormier
When Brock Lesnar initially re-entered the USADA testing pool, it was thought that he would step back into the octagon sometime in early 2019. Lesnar’s current run in the WWE was thought to be over, but once Roman Reigns announced he was battling leukaemia, the WWE extended their deal with Brock Lesnar.
The current WWE Universal Champion signed multiple deals with the WWE according to Dana White in a press conference Friday Night. White stated “One of the guys I met with during PR told me that he had heard Brock Lesnar signed a bunch of new WWE deals.” White was asked if his current deal with WWE would prevent him from returning to UFC, and White stated, “No it doesn’t”
Dana White seemingly is more worried about the present, rather than the future, as Daniel Cormier is hurt, and he would rather focus on stuff that needs to be done now, rather than the future. White stated “I’m not working on stuff I need to work on later, I’m working on stuff that needs to be done now” White also explained that since Cormier is hurt and out for awhile, he will start looking on dates for Cormier once he is better.

Brock Lesnar has been tested 5 times since entering the USADA testing pool, and is scheduled to work with WWE at least until Wrestlemania 35. These “new deals” that Dana White speaks of may have him working more dates leading to the April event. He’s expected to face Braun Strowman at Royal Rumble, and a match between him and Seth Rollins is currently penciled for Wrestlemania 35
