The WWE has strayed away from Intergender matches, but teased it would happen following Nia Jax entering the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
A few months ago a report from The Wrestling Observer stated that’s WWE made an agreement with toy maker Mattel regarding men “overpowering” women in matches.
The WWE had previously had James Ellsworth face Women in matches, where Ellsworth would end up with minimal opposition.
This special attraction match may lead to other matches in the future, or a change on how Mixed Match Challenge matches are performed.
