News broke earlier this week that Dean Ambrose will be exiting WWE once his contract expires in April.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Dean Ambrose’s appearance this past Monday on RAW was not his last.
Ambrose is scheduled for weekend live events in Canada, appearing tonight in Saskatoon, and tomorrow in Regina, SK. Ambrose is also scheduled for the up-coming RAW this Monday.
It’s not clear if the WWE will incorporate his departure into a storyline, or what his role will be going forward. Many speculated that him leaving the WWE was a work, but based on meetings WWE management had with talent this past Tuesday at Smackdown that does not seem to be the case.
The WWE could write him off television prior to his contract expiring if they choose to, but Ambrose did inform management that he available to work until April.
