Dean Malenko has reportedly quit his role as a backstage agent in WWE.

According to Sports Illustrated, Malenko quit the company after spending the last 8 years in a behind the scenes role.

Details behind his departure are currently unknown, but Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed with sources that he has indeed left the company.

Malenko is known for his work in WCW, ECW, and WWE, and is touted as one of the best technical wrestlers in the world.

Malenko was instrumental in guiding talent behind the scenes in putting together matches, as well as helping in a production capacity for many years following his retirement in 2001.
