WWE Set To Launch WWE Network Update

WWE is working on a re-launch of the WWE Network sometime this year. The company has teamed up with Endeavor Streaming, which also works with NBA, NFL, UFC and Big Ten Network.

During today’s WWE Q1 Earnings call, WWE Co-President George Barrios stated a re-launch of the WWE Network is coming this year, but couldn’t provide an exact date.

The company has been working for over a year on the new platform, and state they will have new features that fans have been asking for.

FIghtful Select is reporting the launch would not happen prior to June due to current commitments. Those within the company believe it will launch late summer.

The company has previously spoke on a tiered pricing version of the network which would offer more content and features.

A survey was released last year that had a $15 price point that could include house shows, loyalty program for prizes, early access to live events, as well as in-ring content from partner promotions such as ICW and progress, as well as the ability to stream on more devices at once.

WWE Network launched February 24, 2014.
