NXT Referee Injured During Live Event In Omaha

During tonight’s NXT live event in Omaha, NE, referee Tom Caster suffered a broken leg.

During a match between Velveteen Dream and Tyler Breeze, footage shows a second referee entering the ring and signal a “X” for medical assistance.

Caster was still able to perform a 3-count despite being visibly injured.

No word on the severity of the injury, but based on video footage he does appear to have a broken leg.

Fellow referee Drake Wuertz confirmed Castor did suffer a broken leg during the match, and was stretchered to the back.
