Last week, The Velveteen Dream was involved in a car accident, which resulted in the NXT Star having to go to the hospital.
According to Wrestling Inc., the accident took place on Friday, June 26 around 4:00 p.m. Velveteen Dream allegedly struck another car, after failing to stop at a red light. The driver of the other vehicle was injured, but further details on the severity is not known.
Authorities did present Velveteen Dream a citation for the incident, but he will not have to appear in court.
Prior to the accident, reports have been circulating regarding the status of Dream in the WWE. While some believe his days in the company are numbers, his status within WWE remains unclear.
Velveteen Dream has not appeared on WWE television following serious allegations which surfaced during the #SpeakOut movement.
In April, he was accused of sending an inappropriate photo to an underage fan, which he denied.
WWE has yet to comment on these recent allegations.
