AEW Star Dustin Rhodes is subject to criticism following a post on his Facebook page calling to end the COVID-19 “lockdown”.
The post, which is now deleted, calls for the world to end restrictions put in place due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
“The world needs to open back up and end this mass hysteria. We are not a social nation. We are not a democracy! We are a republic. If we go any longer with this bullshit, our economy will be shot and that much harder to kickstart. #EndTheShutDown.”
Many questioned Rhodes’ comments, which he addressed in follow up posts.
“I mean, no doubt we have an epidemic on our hands, and have sustained losses which is sad, but we have to move on with our lives. Take precautions is fine, but end the shutdown please.”

“I CARE ABOUT HUMAN LIFE, GUYS. Jeeze, take precautions, don’t go out if you have a compromised immune system. Wear your masks and social distance Still open up”.
After deleting the original post, Rhodes posted the following.
Hey friends, are you ready to get back to business? If we take precautions like wearing masks and social distancing, I believe we will be ok. What’s your thoughts?
