Edge has recorded his last episode of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness, the popular podcast alongside Christian.
In the latest episode titled “Edge Is Retiring….. Again”, he reveals that he will be leaving the podcast due to scheduling and time constraints.
Edge’s wife Beth Phoenix recently accepted a full-time role at the commentary booth for NXT on USA, and Christian noted that with her schedule picking up, it was hard for Edge to commit to the weekly show.
“As much as it sounds like, ‘Well, how can you not squeeze that in?’, there’s more to it than what you hear of us flapping our gums. Edge stated. “There’s the logistics of it, separate schedules, different places, guests, things like that. It just ended up being one of those deals where it’s kind of hard to navigate for me right now for me, so yeah, this will be my last episode of the E&C Pod of Awesomeness.”
Based on comments made during the last episode, the podcast will continue in some form, with Christian as the host.
