Eminem’s Team Not Happy With Leaked WWE Details

Eminem’s team is denying a deal has been reached with WWE after initial reports surfaced yesterday.

Eminem’s spokesperson Dennis Dennehy provided a statement to Pro Wrestling Sheet regarding the reported news.

There was a very brief, exploratory conversation that involved a third party and 2K Sports, not Eminem’s team.  It has not gone beyond preliminary discussions, and any reports to the contrary are false.  Right now there are no plans to further pursue it.

Fightful, who broke the initial story is standing by it, and states Eminem’s team is not happy with the news leaking yesterday afternoon.

Eminem’s management is reportedly threatening legal action following the news being leaked.

The original report stated Eminem had reached an agreement with WWE for an appearance on Smackdown Live this fall, as well as contributing to the WWE 2K20 soundtrack.

Considering how Eminem’s management handled the news being leaked, it seems all parties involved would rather be tight lipped on the situation.

We will see how this plays out over the next several months.
