Erick Rowan has offered Braun Strowman some advice after he was released by WWE earlier this month.
Both Rowan and Strowman were part of WWE’s Wyatt Family stable, alongside leader Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Wyatt is the only member remaining with WWE after numerous cuts over the past year.
Rowan was released from WWE last year, as part of the company’s main roster clear-out. Since his departure, Rowan has made appearances on AEW and several independent promotions, going under the name Erick Redbeard.
During an interview with SportsKeeda, the former WWE Superstar touched on Strowman’s release, explaining how even with a big-money contract, nothing is guaranteed.
“You know, a year ago, I was in the same position. That’s what you get when you sign that big-money contract. It’s not guaranteed money, man! (laughs). Nothing in this world is guaranteed. Just get back on, just get back on the horse and keep moving on, man,” Redbeard said.
Strowman won’t be able to appear for any other wrestling promotions until early September due to WWE’s 90-day non-compete clause, however, according to reports the former Universal Champion is looking for five-figure booking fees on the independent scene. You can read more on this by clicking here.
