7:00 PM ET – Update: Jeff Hardy’s court date is set for July 22, 2019 at the Myrtle Beach Municipal Court.

WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested Saturday morning in Myrtle Beach, SC. This story was first reported by TMZ.

We spoke to the Myrtle Beach Police Department and gathered the following information. Hardy was arrested by officer C. Zavistaski for Public Intoxication and Impairment at 1600 N Ocean Blvd at 11:30 a.m outside the Hilton by Enclave Resort. Hardy was booked at 12:30 pm, but was released later Saturday afternoon after posting $153 bond.

Jeff Hardy does have an up-coming court date, but the officer we spoke to did not have the date. The officer also stated that due to it being an ordinance violation, nothing will likely happen since it is a misdemeanour, he could face up to 30 days in jail, but will likely have to pay a small fine.

Hardy is currently out of action with a knee injury, which is rehabbing following surgery.

Jeff was arrested for a DWI last year, following a car accident. Hardy was driving his 2016 Cadillac when he ran off the roadway and struck a guard rail, resulting in his car spinning out into the middle of the right northbound lane. According to police damage is estimated at $8000 to his vehicle, and $5000 to the guard rail. Hardy was arrested after taking a breathalyzer test that read .25, which is over 3 times the legal limit of 0.08. His license was immediately suspended for 30 days following the arrest.
