Arena Security Allegedly Denying Entry To Fans Wearing AEW Merchandise
All Elite Wrestling held their ‘Double Or Nothing’ Rally in Jacksonville today at TIAA Bank Field. WWE is hosting their Smackdown Live event at Jacksonville Memorial Arena, which is a block away.
Many fans have reportedly had issues wearing their AEW merchandise to the WWE event. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, employees of Pro Wrestling Tees(official supplier of AEW merchandise) were attempting to attend the WWE Smackdown event and denied entry.
Thes employees were in line to buy tickets when they were told by security they could not be allowed inside wearing AEW merchandise. The security told them “WWE doesn’t want that in here” when asked the reasoning behind the denial.
Other fans have taken to social media stating they were either denied entry in the the arena for allegedly wearing All Elite Wrestling merchandise.
I’ve heard from several fans with issues at Smackdown tonight regarding the AEW merchandise they had on. One of them told me he was removed from the building and not given option to buy a WWE shirt. I’ve contacted a WWE rep for a statement.
