Finn Balor missed last night’s WWE Smackville event due to illness.
Prior to WWE going to live for Smackville on the WWE Network, the company announced Finn Balor was dealing with an undisclosed injury. John Pollock of Post Wrestling reported that Balor was dealing with an illness, which was described as a “24-hour bug”.
According to Fighful Select, Balor was hospitalized with a stomach flu, which is the reason why he missed the event in Nashville last night.
Finn Balor posted today of himself laying on a hospital bed with the caption “SummerSlam”. Balor is expected to take time off following SummerSlam.
