WWE Network Update Causes Multiple Issues With Users

Earlier this week WWE Network received a massive back-end update, which saw the service move from Disney owned BamTech to Endeavour Streaming Group. The update did include front-end changes including a new sleeker design, simpler navigation advanced search tools.

With the change many subscribers began reporting issues, which included missing categories, audio-sync issues, and usage issues with specific devices.

The following issues are currently known.

Chromecast Not Working on Android and iOS Devices

WWE is aware that Chromecast support is currently unavailable on iOS and Android devices. Network support advises users to use a browser to cast to Chromecast devices.

“Chromecasting the Live player is not currently available. We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

You can cast WWE Network to your Google Chromecast using Android or a web browser.”

Watchlist Not Working On Latest Update

WWE is aware that the watchlist feature is not available with the latest WWE Network update. The following statement was issued on this issue.

“The watchlist feature is temporarily unavailable. Rest assured that is part of the continuous improvement for the best viewing experience,”

Hidden Gems and Collections Removed From WWE Network

WWE has removed the popular Hidden Gems and Collections category in the latest WWE Network update. Support issued the following statement.

“Hidden Gems used to be a part of the Collections tab which is no longer available.”

Audio Sync Issues On WWE Network

WWE Network is aware of audio sync issues affecting multiple devices. The following statement was issued.

“Our team is aware of this issue and is already working for a resolution.”

Episode Numbers Missing In Latest Update

In the latest update WWE Network has removed episode numbers of television programs.

Issues With Canadians Accessing WWE Network

In Canada, WWE Network access is handled through cable providers. The new update no longer allows you to sign in to your cable provider within certain apps.
