WWF Charity Show From 1992 Unearthed
Prior to WWE becoming the sports entertainment juggernaut is today, the company ran charity shows in support of local organizations.
One day prior to the 1992 Royal Rumble, WWE ran three house shows, the first a matinee at Shelton High School in Milford, CT, the second an evening show at the Boston Garden in Boston, MA, and the third a the Sports Arena in Toledo, OH.
The matinee show was a charity event in support of the Troop 3 Boy Scouts, featuring a number of stars including Sgt. Slaughter, The British Bulldog, Roddy Piper, and The Bushwackers.
Randy Ritter unearthed the footage, and posted the full event on Youtube, including the setup of the gymnasium, concessions, merchandise booth, anti-drug promos with WWE stars, and matches.

WWF @ Milford, CT – Shelton High School – January 18, 1992 (matinee)
- Davey Boy Smith pinned the Barbarian at 16:00 with a small package
- The Beverly Brothers defeated the Bushwhackers at 18:00 when Beau pinned Luke
- Roddy Piper pinned WWF IC Champion the Mountie in a non-title match at 17:00 with a roll up
- Virgil & Tito Santana defeated Ted Dibiase (w/ Sensational Sherri) & Repo Man at 13:00 when Virgil pinned Repo with a roll up
- Sgt. Slaughter pinned the Berzerker at 6:00 with a roll up
- Owen Hart & Jim Neidhart defeated the Orient Express at 18:00 when Owen got the pin with the Rocket Launcher
