Ivar of Viking Raiders went under the knife earlier this week.

In an update from PWInsider, Ivar had neck surgery in Birmingham, Alabama this week following an injury sustained on Monday Night RAW last week. No timetable was provided for a return, but due to the nature of the surgery he is expected to be out of action for quite sometime.

PWInsider.com has confirmed Ivar of the Viking Raiders underwent neck surgery earlier this week in Birmingham, Alabama.  We are told there is currently no timetable for his return but it is not expected to be a short recovery.

After attempting a dive outside the ring, Ivar signaled an “X” indicating he was injured. Following the match, WWE issued a statement saying he suffered a cervical injury, and was expecting to make a full recovery.

Erik of Viking Raiders had a singles match this past week on RAW, losing quickly to Bobby Lashley.
