Jake Hager then appeared in street clothes, blindsided Dustin Rhodes, and aligned himself with Jericho and former LAX.
The closing shot saw Hager standing alongside Jericho as we went to credits.
Over the weekend, Sports Illustrated reported Hager possibly making a surprise appearance at tonight’s AEW TNT debut.
Jake Hager was known as Jack Swagger in WWE, and following his exit from the company worked the independent scene. Hager then signed a deal with Lucha Underground, under the name Jake Strong. He is the current Lucha Underground Champion, despite the promotion not filming a Season 5 of the series.
Hager went on to sign a deal with MMA promotion Bellator, where is currently holds a record of 2-0.
