Jerry Lawler will once again call the action during RAW on Monday nights.
WWE revealed the announce teams for RAW and Friday Night SmackDown today.
The new announce team for a RAW will include Vic Joseph doing play-by-play, with Jerry Lawler and Dio Maddin serving as analysts.
Maddin most recently joined the 205 Live commentary team after leaving NXT as an in-ring performer. Jerry Lawler signed a new 2-year deal with WWE earlier this year.
NXT play-by-play will be handled by Mauro Ranallo with Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuiness as analysts.
The new announce team for Friday Night SmackDown will feature Michael Cole handling play-by-play, Corey Graves serving as an analyst, and Renee Young as a Special Contributer.
Following the announcement many fans began to wonder what Tom Phillps WWE role will be. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Phillips will be doing some “producing”. He notes that term is very broad and vague in WWE.
