Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler returned to the commentary desk Monday night for RAW at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL.

Many questioned why Lawler would travel during the global health crisis, considering his age and health history.

Others questioned language he used during a match on tonight’s show.

During a match between Akira Tozawa and Austin Theory, Lawler used offensive language when describing Tozawa’s senton off the stairs.

Lawler described the move as a “Ramen Noodle Moonsault”, which caused backlash on social media.

NXT star Rachael Evers tweeted the following, soon after Lawler’s comments.

This is not the first time Jerry Lawler’s words have got him in hot water with those on social media.

In February, Lawler was under fire after stating Kairi Sane “looked like she he ate day old sushi”.

In November of 2019, Lawler referred to Humbert Carillo as a “jumping bean”.
