Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings has confirmed WWE is an “essential business” and can continue to host events at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL

During a media conference Monday, Demings was asked on the status of WWE, as well as the positive COVID-19 test within the organization.

Demings stated that after talks with Flordia’s Governor Ron DeSantis a decision was made to allow WWE to continue to operate as an “essential business”.

WWE will continue to produce live programming from its Performance Center in Orlando, FL starting tonight with Monday Night RAW.

WWE talent have been provided with documentation outlining they are “essential media” if questioned by law enforcement.
