WWE star Jimmy Uso was arrested following a drunken dispute with Detroit Police according to TMZ.
According to the report, Jimmy’s wife Naomi was pulled over by police near downtown Detroit, after allegedly driving the wrong direction on a one-way street.
Police state that the 2018 Dodge Journey the couple were riding in reeked of booze. Police officers ordered Naoimi out of the vehicle, which caused Jimmy to get out of the car and “square up” with police.
Jimmy allegedly took off his shirt and jacket was put up his hands that caused the police to think he wanted to fight.
The officer was apparently afraid for his safety and took out his taser. Jimmy settled down, complied with their commands, and was handcuffed, and arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction.
Uso was taken to a Detroit area jail, but later posted bond. It is unknown why the couple was in Detroit, as WWE did not have any events scheduled.
Jimmy is scheduled to team with his brother Jey this Sunday at WWE Elimination Chamber against The Miz and Shane McMahon. No word if WWE plans on laying down any consequences due to the incident
Jimmy’s brother, Jey Uso had a run in with police in Texas last year, after allegedly driving while intoxicated.
