Following last night’s incident at the WrestlePro event where Big Cass was removed from the venue, additional details have emerged.
According to Fightful Select, police spoke with Joey Janela in regards to the incident involving him and Big Cass backstage. Officers asked Janela if he would like to press charges against Cass, which he declined, stating he needs help.
Cass’ car was also towed due to it being parked in the middle of the Rahway Rec Center’s parking lot, blocking other cars.
WrestlePro also had people blocking the doorways to ensure Cass didn’t try anything during the show, where the crowd would witness it.
Cass reportedly approached Janela in a threatening manner, and slapped him according to reports from PWInsider.
Throughout the night his behavior became more erratic, to the point where he began accusing members of the locker room of stealing his belongings, and spitting in WrestlePro owner Pat Buck’s face. Buck defended himself, punched Cass, and police were brought in to escort him out of the building.
Cass was eventually taken to hospital by ambulance for his own safety. Full details of last night’s incident can be found here.

Joey Janela issued the following statement
Not gonna elaborate at all on this whole deal besides that it was probably the bizzare situation I’ve ever seen let alone been a part of in a wrestling locker room in 15 years, everything was cordial and friendly Friday and I hope the dude gets back on the right track…
