Following numerous reports on the extremely long delays WWE talent experienced leaving Saudi Arabia, many are beginning to question the validity of WWE’s claim that mechanical issues were to blame.
Karl Anderson posted on Twitter, “Couldn’t pay me enough to go back ..Well that’s not true, I need a second pool, so…..”.
Anderson’s wife then stated she would not want him to ever go back again following the issues that arose during the trip.
She stated, “2nd house!! Not a pool..but don’t ever go back AGAIN! We don’t need our daddy/papi/motherlover/absanderson/besttagteam etc. being held hostage while we’re at home worried to death”
This statement falls in line with various reports that WWE talent were left stranded, and felt like they were “held hostage” following the Crown Jewel event on 10/31.
Vince McMahon, and numerous top stars were able to leave the Kingdom prior to military police reportedly escorting over 100 WWE stars and employees off a plane citing mechanical issues.
McMahon reportedly had issues with Saudi officials regarding payment of WWE Super ShowDown this past June. Payment was reportedly made prior to the event.
