Kassius Ohno is the latest WWE talent who has reportedly been let go from the company.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, Ohno was part of the cuts made by WWE this week.
It has yet to be confirmed whether Ohno has been released of furloughed. Ohno has since changed his Twitter name to “WWE Alumni”.
It’s unknown whether he was laid off or furloughed, but it’s assumed to be the former as he changed his Twitter name to ‘WWE Alumni’. He has yet to confirm the news publicly as of this writing.
Since returning to WWE in 2016, Ohno spent the majority of his time in NXT, and more recently NXT UK.
WWE has also quietly released a number of WWE talent who have been training at the Performance Center.
According to PWInsider, the following names have been released from the company.
- Mohamed Abdelfattah aka Mohamed Fahim
- Marcos Gomes
- Faisal Kurdi
- Edgar Lopez
- Hussain Aldagal
- Tifeng “Rocky”
