Owens Set To Replace Kingston At WWE Fastlane
In a surprising turn of events, Kevin Owens has replaced Kofi Kingston in the WWE Championship match at Fastlane.
Tonight, during the contract signing between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan, Vince McMahon announced Kevin Owens would replace Kofi in his match at Fastlane on 3/10.

Kevin Owens returned following double knee surgery, which as kept him out of action since last October.
Owens has been doing promo vignettes over the last few weeks, and was slated to return next month.
He was originally on RAW, but mentioned doing one promo that he didn’t know whether he would return to the red of blue brand.
Kevin Owens ended up teaming with Kofi Kingston in the main event of Smackdown, defeating Daniel Bryan and Rowan.

Kevin Owens return may be a blessing in disguise for Kofi Kingston.
Their is defiantly parallels in Kofi and Becky Lynch’s situation. Both have had their dream matches taken away from them.
Becky Lynch is expected to somehow make her way back to the Wrestlemania 35 main event, which could end up being a Triple Threat Match.
Kofi Kingston’s removal from the match at Fastlane, could further his storyline, and gain him a championship match a Wrestlemania 35 against Daniel Bryan.
